JASSI 45th Anniversary Benefit Dinner – Request for Silent Auction Donations

• Japanese American Social Services, Inc. (JASSI) sincerely appreciates your continued support of our mission and programs. JASSI will host its 45th Anniversary Benefit Dinner on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Yale Club of New York City.

  Since its founding in 1981, JASSI has been a New York State-certified nonprofit organization providing free social services in both Japanese and English. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of individuals and families facing challenges in their daily lives, including complex issues arising from differences in language, culture, and social systems.
  Our professionally trained bilingual staff provide confidential assistance and referrals through our hotline and community programs. JASSI serves more than 1,000 individuals annually, and more than 80% of those who seek our assistance and answered the question of income belonging to low-to-moderate income households. Thus, the continuation of our free services is essential to the community.

  These services are made possible through government grants, foundation funding, donations from corporations and individuals, and proceeds from fundraising events such as our annual Benefit Dinner.
  As part of this year’s Benefit Dinner, we are seeking donations for our Silent Auction to be held during our Benefit Dinner. JASSI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

  We respectfully ask for your support by contributing an item, service, gift certificate, or other donation to help us continue serving those in need.
  Last year’s Silent Auction featured many wonderful donated items, including jewelry such as necklaces, paintings, sake, gift certificates, handbags, and many other unique items.
