The Nippon Club and The University Club of Palo Alto began a reciprocal club relationship in April 2025. Members of the Nippon Club can therefore use the University Club of Palo Alto’s facilities during their visit to the San Francisco area, California any number of times per year.

Founded in 1952 on tranquil grounds along the Matadero River, the University Club of Palo Alto offers a prime setting for connection, activity, and relaxation, offering members a venue for sports, recreation, and socializing for all ages and skill levels.

【How to Use】
To use the facility, you need to apply online with the University Club of Palo Alto in advance. Please fill out the required information and apply by clicking the application form button below.

The auto-reply email you will receive after applying will serve as your letter of introduction, so please save it on your mobile phone or other device and present it at the front desk when you use the service.

Reciprocal facilities at the University Club of Palo Alto currently include dining in the dining room and private event rooms (subject to availability). Advance reservations are required for the dining room. To confirm dining hours, please email reservations@ucpaloalto.com.

Reciprocal guests are not permitted to use swimming, tennis, or fitness facilities. There are no lodging facilities.
Business casual attire is acceptable as the dress code.

The expense of food & beverage (or/and room charge) and service charges must be paid for by credit card on the spot before leaving the club. An 18% service charge will be added to the meal/room price.

Guests of reciprocal club members must be accompanied by the reciprocal club member.
