Tennis Tournament 2025

The Nippon Club holds winter tennis tournaments as one of its sports activities. The 2026 season will feature various events held on Saturdays from January through March. The venue for the January tournament will be the Cary Leeds Indoor Tennis Center in the Bronx. The February and March tournaments will be held at the indoor courts at the USTA National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens, where the US Open is held every year. The tournaments will be open to both men and women in singles, doubles, and team competition. Not only Nippon Club members but also non-members/guests are welcome to participate.

Below is the tournament schedule from January to March. We will be sending out information about the January tournament soon. Everyone is welcome, whether you like to play tennis, play regularly, and want to try out for a game, haven’t played in a while, or are a first-time participant. Please join us regardless of your tennis level. Let’s enjoy playing together with fellow tennis enthusiasts!

【January 2026】

Tournament Schedule：

Saturday, January 24 & 31, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm (approx. scheduled time)

■ Mix Doubles Tournament

※ Note: Open tournament is a competition in which both male and female can participate.

Venue：The Cary Leeds for Tennis & Learning (1720 Crotona Ave, Bronx, NY 10457)

Eligibility：Nippon Club members, Guests of member, Non-members

Participation fee：
・$50 for Members, $70 for Guests (Singles Open Tournaments)
・$50/pp for Members, $70/pp for Guests (Mixed Doubles Tournament)

Tournament Schedule：

Saturday, March 21 & 28, 6:30 pm – 11:00 pm (approx. scheduled time)

■ Open Team Tournament (Team Doubles)

※ Note: Each team will consist of 4 players (1 substitute can be added) A team can be mixed genders.

Venue: USTA National Tennis Center (Flushing Meadow Corona Park, Queens, NY)
