National Baseball Hall of Fame Day Trip
– Celebrate Ichiro’s Hall of Fame Induction!
JCCI will be organizing a one-day trip to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday, July 27, to give our members the special chance to see the Induction Ceremony, the museum, and the town of Cooperstown. This will include a special opportunity to see Ichiro Suzuki receive his Hall of Fame induction.
Please find below the tentative one-day schedule (note food is not included in this trip and will be at the guest’s own expense). Including parking and entry fees, the trip will cost at most $305 per person.

7:00 Depart Manhattan by Coach (Nippon Club) * One rest stop.
11:00 Arrive at Cooperstown *National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum
11:00-12:00 Yakyu Exhibition
12:00-13:00 Free time in Cooperstown (lunch on your own expense)
13:30 The Annual Induction Ceremony at Clarks Sports Center (No booked seats/No chairs provided)
* Ceremony will be held roughly 2 hours. Ceremony is first come first served.
** Free Shuttle between Museum-Ceremony site 8:30am-1:00pm/ after ceremony (after 3:30pm or 4:00pm)
16:00 Free time in Cooperstown (lunch at your own expense)
17:00 Depart Cooperstown to Manhattan * One rest stop.
21:00 Arrive Manhattan (Nippon Club)

・Please note if the minimum number of participants falls below 25 before 7/2, we may consider canceling the event.
・Cancellation fee rates: 6/19-7/02: 50%; 7/03 and after: 100%
・A 100% cancellation fee will be charged to anyone who cancels after July 3rd, so the trip will still operate even if the minimum number of participants is not met.

・As there will be no reserved seating at the induction ceremony, you may bring your own lawn chairs or blankets if preferred because we’ll be seated in the grassy area.
・We expect large crowds that day in the Cooperstown area. It may be wise to also bring your own food (obento) and drink to avoid long lines.
