Nippon Club 2025 Autumn Performing Arts Event:Masato Yamada: “KATARI~The Art of Storytelling: The Master-Disciple Story of Hideki Matsui”

This year, the Nippon Club’s autumn event will be held under the title “2025 Autumn Performing Arts Event,” featuring two events in October and November respectively.

The first event, “KATARI~The Art of Storytelling: The Master-Disciple Story of Hideki Matsui,” will be held at the Nippon Club Tower on Friday, October 10.

“KATARI” is a unique style of storytelling developed by actor and entertainer Masato Yamada. Using only a microphone and spotlight effects, he conveys with extraordinary expressive power the moving human dramas hidden within true stories of athletes, cultural figures, and others.

For “KATARI~The Art of Storytelling,” Yamada will bring us “The Master-Disciple Story of Hideki Matsui,” a one-man stage performance that delves into truth while moving the audience to both tears and laughter.

▶︎Event Program

Following the event, a networking reception (food & drinks) will be held, providing an opportunity for members to connect. Please join us!

※The storytelling will be in Japanese, but AI simultaneous translation in English via Wordly will be projected on screen, allowing non-Japanese speakers to enjoy the performance as well.
