“Nippon Club/JCCI Team” participants wanted!

Please feel free to join us alone or in a group
The Japan Parade will be held again this year on Saturday, May 10, starting at 1:00 pm at Central Park West in Manhattan. This year’s Grand Marshal is Chef Masaharu Morimoto known to millions as the star of Iron Chef and Iron Chef America and now executive producer and head judge for Roku’s Sushi Master.

We will be participating again this year as the “Nippon Club/JCCI Team” as we did last year, and we are looking for members who would like to walk in the parade with us and make the “festivities” more exciting. All participants will receive a special Nippon Club/JCCI T-shirt to wear in the parade. Participants may also wear yukata or happi coats as an option (please note that we cannot provide a place to change clothes). Participants must be members of the Nippon Club or JCCI (including family members). You are also welcome to join the parade with your family and/or friends even though they are non-members. Children are also welcome. Children can wear their favorite Halloween costumes, princess dresses, etc., in addition to the T-shirts and yukata.
If you would like to participate, please register using this online form.
If you have any questions, please email us at info@nipponclub.org. We do not accept inquiries by phone, so please contact us by email. We look forward to your participation.
<Japan Night>
This year, an event called “Japan Night” will be held on Friday, May 9, the day before the parade, as a pre-festival celebration. If you are interested, please click here to see the flyer.
