【Event Report】Holiday Party 2025 “Let’s Celebrate”
The Nippon Club held its annual holiday party on Wednesday, December 10 at The Penn Club of New York (30 W 44th St, New York), a private social club, under the theme “Let’s Celebrate!”
The first half of the event was a luxurious buffet dinner while members mingled and enjoyed each other’s company. Also during the dinner, a live performances was played by the Keita Ogawa Jazz Trio (top left photo: from left, Adam Birnbaum (Jazz Pianist), Jorge Roeder (Bassist), and Keita Ogawa (Percussionist & Drummer)). The second half of the entertainment was hosted by Ms. Christina Maxwell and Mr. Maeda, Vice President & Assistant Secretary of the Nippon Club, a great host that worked well together.
First, Mr. Kotaro Tameda, President of the Nippon Club (President & CEO, Sumitomo Corporation of Americas) gave opening remarks.
The entertainment featured a holiday concert by two divas; performed by a Broadway actress, Ms. Delphi Borich, and singer-actress Ms. Christina Maxwell, who also served as MC for this event. Accompanying them on piano was Mr. Tedd Firth, music director, pianist, and arranger. (View the performers’ profiles here.)
The concert finale featured a duet performance by them, filling the venue with their beautiful singing voices.
At the end of the event, everyone enjoyed the announcement of the raffle drawings. Winners received a variety of luxurious prizes provided by our sponsor companies. The venue was filled with excitement over the numerous lavish prizes, and the party concluded amidst the excitement.
The two lucky winners who claimed multiple grand prizes. 2026 is sure to be a wonderful year for them.
