In this bilingual conversation class, we discuss subjects currently on the minds of New Yorkers and in the local news. Subjects in the past have included hot topics such as Amazon’s effort to come to Queens, the banning of plastic shopping bags next year, the opening of Hudson Yards, and the growing popularity of e-cigarrettes. We look at the pros and cons of each topic and have animated discussions, while learning new vocabulary and grammar. Each class will have a segment dedicated to studying pronunciation.
