Pianist Kyoko Tatsumi has won high praises for her diverse artistic accomplishments in the United States, Canada, Europe, and her native Japan since her debut recital at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 1992.
An inspiring teacher, Ms. Tatsumi devotes much of her energy to music education and has been invited to give master classes and lectures in Japan and in the United States.
In 2007, Ms. Tatsumi recorded her world premiere “Kyoko Tatsumi Plays Transcription of Gershwin”, which received the monthly disc award from the Recording Arts Magazine. In 2008, Ms. Tatsumi performed the world premiere of Gershwin’s “Concerto in F”, a one piano version at the Carnegie Weill Hall.
She received her M.F.A. degree with a special award for her outstanding performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a B.M. degree from the Tokyo National University of Arts.
Ms. Tatsumi has served as faculty of Piano Teaching Technique at the Japan Women University, and as an invited Lecturer in Piano at the Yamaha Music School. She has also serve as a juror in the US and Japan including the PTNA Piano Competition in Tokyo.

The registration fee is $50 for non-Nippon Club members, $25 for a Nippon Club member.The registration fee is for the first time only. $15 will be charged as a renewal fee after one year.
