We’d like to share with you an article that was published in Wordly’s newsletter, “Language Transparency Touches Lives.” It was written based on feedback we received from a participant of the Nippon Club event.
“Language Transparency Touches Lives”
New York’s Nippon Club now uses Wordly for regular gatherings. Wordly was honored to learn that our real-time translation brought a cross-cultural family closer together as they shared a profound cultural event like never before.
“Thank you very much for the enjoyable evening. The event was held in Japanese, but the English subtitles were provided on the screen, so my husband, who doesn’t understand Japanese, said he enjoyed watching the event with me. I feel lucky that such an event was organized for us, the senior members of JAA (Japanese American Association.)”
It is really heartening to see cross-cultural families able to share cultural experiences together, bonding without language limitations.
